Sharp Iron Farmstead is a family farm in the mountains of Western North Carolina — two families, one mission. Raising pastured meats, free-range eggs, and seasonal vegetables, grown with care and brought straight to our community.

That verse gave this farm its name — and it describes how we operate every day.
Sharp Iron Farmstead is built on the belief that good farming is an act of stewardship. Of the land. Of the community. Of the gifts God has placed in our care. Two families, one mission: to raise food the right way and bring it directly to the people who eat it.
We practice regenerative agriculture — tending the soil so it gives more life, not less, with every passing season. Our animals live on pasture. Our vegetables grow in ground we work hard to keep healthy. And everything we sell, we raised ourselves.

Fresh-picked produce grown in soil we tend with intention. What's in season is what's on the table — and what we bring to market.
Our animals live the way they were created to — on open pasture, with room to roam and fresh air every day. Raised humanely from start to finish.
Free-range hens, real sunshine, and honest feed — the difference shows in every egg. Multicolored, fresh from the nest, and full of flavor the way eggs were meant to be.
We do our best to be at the market every Saturday during the season, but farm life doesn't always follow a schedule. Check the calendar or reach out before making the trip — we keep it current.
